Our 6 Days Best of Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour will take you to the best of our carefully chosen routes to the different locations. It will take you through the exciting national conservation areas of Tarangire National Park, where you can witness the vast number of elephants and the stunning borassus palms along the Tarangire River. We will then go to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can witness stunning game, and we will cross Lake Manyara to see the tree-climbing lions and the great wildebeest migration.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Tarangire National Park

A representative of the Judith Safaris company will greet you when you arrive at Tarangire National Park. You will be accompanied by your picnic lunch, and we will drive from Arusha for the entire day. The conservation area is the third largest national park in the country, and you will be greeted by the stunning borassus palm trees that line the Tarangire River. The majority of the animal species graze around the river, which serves as the focal point for tourists.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in the morning, we will go to the park for game drives. We will enjoy the wilderness of the conservation area during the three-hour game drive, and we should see a variety of wildlife, such as zebras, lions, antelopes, gazelles, buffaloes, and giraffes. We will stop along the way for a picnic lunch, and then we will continue our game drives in the afternoon to find any animal species we might have missed the day before. Later, we will head to the Ngorongoro crater for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast and lunch, we will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we will arrive in time for lunch and a wildlife viewing tour in the afternoon. You will see a variety of wild animals, including gazelles, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, elands, and giraffes. You will also enjoy the best of the conservation area through the park’s well-distributed game tracks and take in the picturesque views. The park’s animals appear to have been trapped here. Finally, you will return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and head to the Serengeti National Park for a game drive. As we leave the park, we will take in the views of the rolling Savannah grassland. We will also stop at the Olduvai Gorge, where early man’s remains were found, for lunch and then head to the park for an afternoon game drive where we can see cheetahs, leopards, water bucks and Jackson hartebeests, to name a few. Come back for dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Full Day Game Activities

After breakfast in the morning, you will head to the game conservation area with your packed for a game drive. After lunch, you will get a chance to see the wildebeest migration. The animals are so busy that it’s amazing to see thousands of them cross a crocodile-infested river, but even though we’re going when there are fewer gazelles, there are still a lot of animals that are expected to make up the so-called “big five” of the wilderness: lions, leopards, African buffaloes, African elephants, and other well-known species like waterbucks, bush bucks, cheetahs, and warthogs, to name a few. After dinner, head back to the lodge to spend the night.

Day 6: Departure

As you bid farewell to the nation that has been your home for a while, you will be taken to Arusha for your international departure after an early morning breakfast.
