Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
A representative from Judith Safaris will greet you and give you an overview of the eight-day tour when you arrive. You will visit the magnificent national museum, depending on when you arrive. After going on a wildlife drive at Nairobi National Park, you will continue on to Amboseli National Park. The drive through the stunning mountains and undulating landscapes is breathtaking. Make it in time for supper and spend the night there.

Day 2: Game Drives in Amboseli National Park
After breakfast in the morning, you will go hunting in the park. The best time to see animals is in the morning, when most of them are out grazing and others are hunting. You can expect to see zebras, African elephants, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, bush bucks, and more through the park’s well-maintained game tracks. After lunch, you will head back to the lodge for a game drive in the afternoon to see additional animals. Along the way, you will see a variety of birds, creatures you might have missed, and the incredible Sundowners. We will then head back to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park
Every year, thousands of wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras migrate over the crocodile-infested river, making Masai Mara National Park a very thrilling location. Witnessing their stroll and vibratory movements is truly a magical experience. After breakfast this day, you will be driven to the national park, arriving in time for lunch and a game drive in the afternoon. Savour some of the numerous species that may be spotted here before they head back to the resort for dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, you and your packed lunch will be taken to the park, where an experienced guide will show you the best of the conservation area. Around the Mara triangle, there is a lot of animal activity, including the so-called “big five” of the wilderness: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and many other animal species. You can also see zebras, cheetahs, Masai giraffes, and many bird species. In the evening, we head back to the lodge for dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Safari and Visit the Local Community
After breakfast in the morning, you will head to the park to start our second adventure through the Masai Mara National Park. Your guides will arrange for you to go on a balloon safari, which will give you an incredible aerial view of the stamped elephants and grazing antelopes. There is so much to see that your eyes will be blown away. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon with the Masai people, who are known to be nomadic pastoralists. They will take you on a tour of their traditional experiences and way of life. The dance is really beautiful, and you will return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru
We shall embark on a game drive in the Angelic Rift Valley part of Lake Nakuru National Park after having morning tea or coffee and something to warm our bellies. We will arrive in time for a hot lunch and an evening game drive along the shores of the Alkaline soda ash lake. The lake is home to numerous bird species and flamingos. The birds are drawn to the green algae. After dinner, head back to the lodge to spend the night there.

Day 7: Full Day Game Drive
You will get up early and go to the park in order to see herbivores that come out to feed and mammals, particularly the early risers, some of which are nocturnal. It’s the ideal moment to watch the game. You have a good possibility of seeing most of the species in the national park, including giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, and any birds. After lunch, have a leisurely afternoon at the lodge, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 8: Game Drives and Departure
After eating something to get your stomach warmed up, you’ll head to the park for game drives, check out again and then head to Nairobi to depart.
