This 5 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour begins in Entebbe and takes you over the southwestern Tuscan-like landscape to a quiet forest lodge on the outskirts of the Bwindi Impenetrable woodland. You’ll spend the following three nights in a forest hut with wonderful views of the humid forest canopy and the jagged rift valley landscape. On the second day, skilled trackers will take you into the jungle to locate a mountain gorilla family. You will spend an exhilarating hour calmly studying the mountain gorillas as they live their wild lives. Additionally, you will take immersive hikes through settlements and terraced gardens as you explore the untamed rural area on foot. On a forest path, interact with the Batwa local people and learn about their ancient traditions, drama, hunting techniques, and survival tactics from their time living in the gorilla-infested forests.

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning by 6:30 am to meet your private driver guide for the duration of the trip. On a road with smooth surfaces, the lengthy drive from Entebbe to Kisoro takes almost nine hours. Up to the lodge, the final stretch on a dirt road takes almost an hour and a half, passing through some of the most breathtaking scenery. Along the way, you’ll pause for lunch at the equator for Instagram moments and the traditional drum-making artists. The driver will pull over anywhere you want to take a fantastic picture.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
By 7:00 am, we will make sure you have a packed lunch, the appropriate hiking equipment, drinking water, and a walking stick. At the tourist centre, the briefing for the Uganda gorilla trekking excursion begins at 7:30 am. You and six other visitors will be led into the rainforest by your tracking guide and two armed rangers to locate a habituated gorilla group. Once you locate the gorillas, you can view them for around an hour at a distance of 10 meters, though the amount of time spent monitoring them varies. Alternatively, if you purchase a gorilla habituation pass, you can spend roughly four hours observing the gorillas. You cannot plan how long you will spend in the forest because each day is unique. But by 2:00 pm, most hikers have left the bush with a contented smile.
Accommodation: Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 4: Full Day in Bwindi
There are optional activities to keep you active on the fourth day of this brief Uganda gorilla trekking safari. If not, you can spend a restful vacation in your forest cottage. Remain at the lodge and unwind by reading a book, taking a cooking lesson, or going for a stroll and chatting with locals. Return to the enigmatic jungle to have another encounter with the gorillas. Perhaps go with the rangers to spend more time with the gorillas through habituation. However, keep in mind that you need to have reserved your trekking permit in advance. For a classic dug-out paddling adventure with some of the most captivating views of the volcano lake, drive down to Lake Mutanda. Take a forest stroll along the Batwa Forest Trail or the Circular Trail through the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, this time for the ethereal aspects of the jungle rather than the gorillas. Enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of the hilly landscapes while having a sundowner picnic on top of the world. The lodge is a short stroll away.
Accommodation: Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
