Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe International Airport.
One of our knowledgeable tour drivers or guides will meet and greet you at Entebbe International Airport and take you to your Kampala or Entebbe hotel for the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast in the morning, you will be picked up and taken to the southwestern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the double gorilla trekking tour in Uganda. You will stop at the equator of Uganda and other interesting locations for pictures. After lunch in Mbarara, you will travel early in the evening to the dense forest of Bwindi. Unwind at the lodge before starting your walk the following day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Afternoon Nature Walk
After eating an early breakfast, bring your packed lunch, water, and appropriate gorilla trekking clothing to the park office headquarters. Attend the informational session regarding the Dos and Don’ts of gorilla trekking in Uganda’s thick forest. Once you locate the gorillas, you will get the opportunity to spend an hour with them. Depending on the gorillas’ movements, the entire tracking process takes four to six hours.
After that, you can spend one and a half hours on a nature walk to the Munyaga River Trail, depending on your level of strength. Here, you may enjoy strolling down the riverbank while keeping an eye out for monkeys and bird species that you might have missed when following gorillas. If you’re still in good enough shape, you can also hike the waterfall route, which takes two to three hours to complete. You will love strolling through the jungle on the waterfall route while keeping an eye out for monkeys, several bird species, and the stunning Munyaga waterfall. After that, head back to the lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking Experience.
After a somewhat early start and a packed lunch, you will arrive at the park office ready to embark on your second gorilla trek in Uganda. In order to give you a distinct experience in the forest, you will be assigned to a different gorilla family here. Because young gorillas are so playful, you may be able to observe behaviour that you missed on your first excursion. After you get back, you’ll take a village walk to meet the Pygmies and other locals. You will learn about local people’s lifestyles from the guide. After dinner, head back to your resort for the night.

Day 5: Return to Kampala – Departure.
After breakfast in the morning, you will embark on an 8–9 hour journey through several settlements to Kampala. Make multiple stops for lunch and photography. After that, you will visit Mpambire Drum Makers in Mpigi to discover how individuals create a living by using cow products, such as horns to manufacture musical instruments and skins to make drums. After that, you will proceed to Kampala and, if your flight is scheduled to depart at that time, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
