Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Visit Nairobi National Park

Your safari adventure officially starts today when you land at Wilson Airport in Nairobi. After being welcomed, you will be driven to your camp. Depending on when you get to Nairobi National Park, you might be able to go on your first game drive. Cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, lions, leopards, baboons, zebras, and wildebeest are among the 100 mammal species found in the reserve. There is a guarantee of rhino sightings. There’s also the opportunity to see over 500 migratory and indigenous bird species. After a thrilling safari, you’ll return to camp for refreshments and stories over the campfire. Then, you’ll eat under the vast African sky before settling into your cosy tent bed.

Day 2 – 3: Flight to Amboseli National Park

As you prepare for your early morning journey to Amboseli, you bid Nairobi farewell this morning and return to Wilson Airport. When you arrive, you will be welcomed and shown to your tent. After the sumptuous lunch, you will head back to your lodging and do a game drive in the afternoon. The northern Selenkay Conservancy is an important dispersing area for species passing through Amboseli National Park. Among the rare animals frequently seen in the conservancy are caracals, African wild cats, serval cats, genet cats, honey badgers, and striped hyenas. Planned wildlife drives through the Selenkay Conservancy and Amboseli National Park are scheduled for the next day.

Day 4 – 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Rhino & Chimpanzee Sanctuary

After walking beside the Maasai warriors to a nearby Masai community, have a filling breakfast before preparing your belongings and travelling to Amboseli Airport to board your flight to Nanyuki Airstrip. Following your arrival, you will go to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and camp there. You will take an open-sided 4×4 vehicle on your first evening wildlife drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the late afternoon. The following day’s activities include sundowners, guided walks, shared game drives both during the day and at night, a visit to Baraka, the Black Rhino & Information Centre, and a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Day: 6 – 7: Masai Mara Safari Adventure

In preparation for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara, you drive to the Nanyuki Airstrip this morning after bidding farewell to Porini Rhino Camp. When you arrive, you will drive to the prestigious Olare Motorogi Conservancy. In order to witness the Mara big cats and other nocturnal creatures, you embark on a night game drive inside the Conservancy this afternoon. Morning and evening game drives across the pristine wilderness of the private reserve and the Masai Mara National Reserve are scheduled for the next day. If you are visiting during the months when the mammals migrate, Porini Lion Camp is the finest site to see this performance. You will also have the opportunity to participate in escorted wilderness hikes that are intended to arouse your senses. You could even want to experience an exhilarating hot air balloon safari if you’re feeling very adventurous.

Day 8: Departure

After a final game drive and a hearty breakfast, you will say goodbye to Kenya as you pack up and take your aircraft back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. This is where you will connect with your next travel arrangements.
