It is nestled between Lumango and the Uluguru Mountains. An extension of the Usangu Game Reserve, the Ruaha National Park area is one of the best spots to see stunning wildlife. Game viewing, wildlife drives, and breathtaking landscapes are the tour’s main highlights.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Mikumi National Park
A representative of Judith Safaris will meet you on the first day of your five-day wildlife safari adventure in Tanzania and take you to Mikumi National Park in time for lunch. Later, you will go on a game drive through the park in the afternoon, where you can see lions, zebras, elephants, warthogs, elands, giraffes, and various birds. After dinner, head back to the lodge to spend the night there.

Day 2: Transfer to Ruaha National Park
After breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Ruaha National Park with a packed lunch for the day or lunch on the way to Iringa town, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the Ruaha River in central Tanzania. You can choose to check in and unwind there or go on an optional evening game drive and sundowners in the national park.

Day 3: Full Day in Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, you head to the national park for full-day game drives. The national park covers a vast landscape made up of angelic rolling hills, escarpments, and dotted African Baob trees; these incredible features are not to be missed on a Tanzanian safari; it is one of those places to have a unique experience. You will be having the best days in these two conservation areas. A full day in the park means that lunch is packed, and you can expect to view a lot of species, including elands, oribi, giraffes, waterbucks, African buffaloes, and greater and lesser kudus, to name a few. After dinner, head back to the lodge to spend the night there.

Day 4: Transfer to Iringa Town
After breakfast in the morning, you will take a guided nature walk to the national park for additional animal and nature viewing. After that, you will return to the lodge, check out and be transferred to the Iringa town area, which is located near Dodoma in central Tanzania. You will spend the night there.
Accommodation: Iringa Sunset Hotel, Iringa Ruthlen Hotel.
Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 5: Transfer to Dar-es-salaam – Departure.
After breakfast, you will drive to Dar es Salaam to catch your flight home after doing a town tour and shopping in the local markets.
